Preston Earl Robinson

Mr. Preston Earl Robinson, 71, of 139 N. Jefferson Street, Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Garland, NC, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, at his residence.

Preston was born January 12, 1952, in Garland, NC, the son of the late Marshall Robinson and Bonnie Bell Robinson. Preston was preceded in death by three brothers: Eddie Robinson; Marshall Robinson; and Samuel Robinson, two sisters: Estelle Robinson; and Mary Robinson. Preston was an Entrepreneur and worked in various places in NC & FL until his retirement.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife: Carlette Robinson of the home, one daughter: Vonetta Robinson of SC, two sons: Nigel Hill of NC; and Emmanuel Robinson (Samantha) of CA, two bonus-daughters: Terri Powell; and Melody Garcia (Joey), both of Florida, two sisters: Margie Breeden of NC; and Lucy James of NC, 15 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A  Memorial Service will be held at Noon, on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland, NC.
