Walter Anught Harris

Mr. Walter Anught Harris, 73, of 621 Messick Rd., Willard, passed away on Friday, May 03, 2024, at his residence.

Walter was born May 06, 1950, in Pender County, to the late Cleo Jacobs. In addition to his mother, Walter is preceded in death by his son: Dion D. Harris, and his brother: Leroy Jacobs. Walter spent most of his working career as a Contractor in the Construction Industry.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2024, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 4123 Piney Woods Road, Willard, NC. The Reverend Eva Merritt will be officiating the service.

Walter leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter: Dedra Ky-Wana Harris-Whitehead (Terrance) of Wendell, one sister: Avis Griffin, of SC, one grandchild: Tiana Whitehead, and a host of family and friends.
