Tiwilla Coreen (Carroll) Carr

On Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 12:45 AM, at Sampson Regional Hospital, Clinton, NC, Tiwilla Coreen Carroll Carr earned her wings and went home to be with the Lord!

Tiwilla was born October 22, 1977, in Durham County to Howard Lee and Rosa Carroll. Tiwilla was a graduate of Union High School-1996. Tiwilla was a member of Garland First Baptist Church, she attended faithfully until her health declined. Tiwilla was a free spirit, loving, direct person, that brought joy to all those she loved. She was affectionately known as “Booger” and “Bumble Bee”. She was an exceptional Mother to her sons. She was loved by so many and will forever be cherished.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons: Jatur Carr, and Jahmeur Carr, both of Clinton, NC, and her parents: Howard Lee and Rosa Carroll of Garland, NC, two brothers: Howard “June Bug” Carroll of Garland, NC, LaJona D. Carr of Ivanhoe, NC, special cousin: Kimblee James, and two childhood friends: Jessica Garner, and Talesha Pridgen.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 08, 2024, at Carter Funeral Home by the Rev. Dr. Louis Hackett.  Burial will follow in the Garland Community Cemetery.

The public viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 08, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. - 1:50 P.M., before the service at the funeral home.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Lydia Fryar, 643 Airport Rd., Garland, NC 28441.
