Sue (Smith) Covington

Mrs. Susan “Sue” Covington 74 of Clayton formerly of Fayetteville died Thursday, June 07, 2018 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.

Mrs. Covington was born April 20, 1944 the daughter of the late Spurgeon Luther “Foots” Smith and Mary Ethel Smith.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 09, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery.

Mrs. Covington is survived by two daughters Charlotte Ronchetti of Garner, Beth Soles and husband Brian of Clayton, one brother, Mike Smith wife Sondra and two nephews of Coats, 2 grandchildren, Braden and Reese.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 09, 2018 from 1:00P.M.-1:50P.M., before the service at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
