Shannon "Lil Bit" Marie Adams

Ms. Shannon “Lil Bit” Marie Smith Adams, 43, of Shamrock Square Apartments, Garland, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Novant Health in Wilmington, NC.

Shannon was born on November 22, 1980, in Sampson County to the late James B. Smith and his wife, Wanda Gail Carter Smith. In addition to her parents, Shannon is preceded in death by her son: James Anthony. 

A Funeral will be held at 12:00 PM (noon), on Saturday, November 02, 2024, at Serenity Baptist Church, 8994 Garland Hwy., Clinton, NC. Interment to follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 863 Boney Mill Road, Clinton, NC.

“Lil Bit” leaves to cherish her memory two beloved daughters: Emily Adams and Angel Adams both of Roseboro, the father of her children: David Adams of Fayetteville, her brother: Chris Smith and his wife Shelly of Harrells, her sister: April Faircloth, and many friends of the community.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 01, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Serenity Baptist Church, 8994 Garland Hwy., Clinton, NC, and at other times at the home of Elbert & Cynthia Hall, 4461 Hayne Stretch Road, Roseboro, NC.
