Mr. Robert Edward Blackburn 50 of 3410 NC Hwy. 53 East died Wednesday, October 03, 2012 at Bladen Co. Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 07, 2012 at Colly Chapel Church, by the Reverend Jim Woodruff. Burial will follow in the Blackburn Cemetery.
Mr. Blackburn is survived by his mother Hattie Velarde of Elizabethtown, father, Carl Blackburn and step mother, Faye Blackburn of Washington, two bothers, Ronald Valarde of Elizabethtown, Dewayne Blackburn of Garland, his fiancé Shirley Waldrop of Elizabethtown, NC.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 06, 2012 from 6:00P.M.-8:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
