Mrs. Restelle Smith Owens 75 of 629 Boone St., died Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Duke Regional in Durham, NC.

Funeral services will be held Sunday August 21, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Sam Springs AME Zion Church at 1964 Old Mintz Hwy, Roseboro, NC.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 3620 Roseboro Hwy., Clinton, NC.

Mrs. Owens is survived by her sons, Mario Owens of Woodbridge, VA. and Marcus Owens of Roseboro. One sister, Eva Dale Smith Herring of Garland and two brothers, Earl Smith of Fayetteville and Harvey Smith of Newark, NJ.

A public viewing will be held Saturday August 20, 2016 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM with family present from 5:00P.M.-6:00PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
