Mr. Raymond Lee “Goat Man” Williams, 82, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

Lee was born March 08, 1938 in Sampson County to the late Raymond Lee Williams Sr. and Modell Robinson. He is preceded in death by his wife: Catherine “Duck” Melvin Williams, daughter: Catrina Williams, brother: Julius Robinson and sister: Mamie Cooper.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 06, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home in Garland. Elder Jerry Wilson will be officiating the service. Interment to follow at Garland Community Cemetery.

Lee leaves to cherish his memory five daughters: Hanna Williams of Newburgh, NY, Tina Thomas (Clyde) of Fayetteville, NC, Julia Williams of Atlanta, GA, Elizabeth Mora (Joseph) of Rock Hill, SC, Tabitha McDonald of Newburgh, NY, one son: Danny McNail of Newburgh, NY, one sister: Flora Lee Henry of Newburgh, NY, 24 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Monday, April 05, 2021 from 1:00-6:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
