Peggy Louise (Mcdonald) Moran

Mrs. Peggy Louise Moran, 75, of 331 West Road, Turkey, NC, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at UNC Chapel Hill Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.

Peggy was born February 12, 1949, in Harnett County, NC, to the late Troy McDonald, Sr. & wife, Juanita Saunders McDonald. In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her husband: Barry Moran, two brothers: Troy McDonald, Jr.; Mark McDonald, and one great-niece: Kaitlyn House. Peggy enjoyed a long career as an LPN in the Health Care Industry.

A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM, Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Carter Funeral Home, 111 N. Ingold Ave., Garland, NC. Interment to follow the service at the Garland Cemetery, Garland, NC. Reverend Jamie McDonald will be officiating the service.

Peggy leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter: Tonya Tomer Huyghe of Las Vegas, NV, one son: Harold Samples of Turkey, NC, one son-in-law: Kevin Tomer of Turkey, NC, one grandchild: Kaleb Tomer of Las Vegas, NV, two sisters: Gloria Williams of Turkey, NC; Marie McMahun of Satsuma, FL, two brothers: Bruce McDonald (Katherine) of Forest Park, GA; Carl Vallese (Karen) of Smyrna, GA, and 3 step-sons: Clint; Ben, and BJ Moran all of NY, and nieces &nephews: Tammy & Tyrone House; Kory & Jessica House; Dana Williams; Chase  Byess; Kelly Williams; Lisa Bradford; Melanie & Randy Miller; James McDonald; Jamie & Lauren McDonald; Mason; Jaxen; Finn McDonald; Austin & Cameron Vallese; Deborah Johnson; Charles Quick, and Nicklas Miller,  other family members, and friends of the community.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 4:00-5:00 PM, prior to the service, at Carter Funeral Home, 111 N. Ingold Ave., Garland, NC.
