Ms. Debra Faith "Debi" Whitley 59, of 610 Raleigh Ave. Carolina Beach, NC, formerly Garland, NC died Monday, July 21, 2014 at her residence.
Ms. Whitley was born October 27, 1954 in Edgecombe Co., NC, the daughter of the late William Burton Whitley and Loreen Carter Whitley. She was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Davis. "Debi" a.k.a Frank was the owner/operator of Franks Pizza at Carolina Beach.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the Garland Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, by the Reverend Jack Melvin. Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery.
Ms. Whitley is survived by one son, William Patrick Adair, Jr., and wife Jamie of Carolina Beach, one daughter, Sharlotte Adair of Carolina Beach, two sisters, Wanda Whitley of Wilmington, Jeannie Horrell of Garland, five grandchildren, AJ Adair, Abigail Adair, Dylan Barnes, Rashad Williams, Breanna Fisher, and one great-grandchild, Autum Bolt, and a special friend Susan Foy.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 1:00P.M.-2:00P.M. at the church before the service, and other times at the home of Jeannie Horrell, 1553 Hill Circle, Garland, NC 28441
