Mrs. Thelma Ruth Peterson Melvin 77 of 110 Reeves Rd. Garland, died Monday, November 12, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 15 2012 at Parkersburg Baptist Church in Garland, by the Reverend Ronnie Grizzle. Burial will follow in the Parkersburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Melvin is survived by one son Tommy Melvin of Garland, one daughter Cheryl Robinson, of Garland, 7 grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 6:00P.M.-8:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
