Mrs. Sallie Mae New

Mrs. Sallie Mae New 78 of 3445 Old Fayetteville Rd., died Monday, January 12, 2015 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC.

Mrs. New was born October 01, 1936 in Bladen Co., to the daughter of the late Willis Smith and Ruby Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Roy New, one sister, Shirley English and a brother W.J. Smith.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Friendship Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. New is survived by two sons, Robert New of Garland, Jerry New (Cheryl) of Clinton, two daughters, Debbie Robinson (Dale) of Garland, Karen Brown (Frankie) of Garland, three brothers, Paul R. Smith, Delbert Smith, Hugh Smith all of Garland, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
