Mrs. Malissia "Bunch" Valentine

Malissia Bunch Valentine 87 of E. Roseboro St., died Wednesday, August 06, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Valentine was born November 09, 1926 in Sampson Co., NC the daughter of the late Claude Williams and Lula Kelly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Valentine, and one son, Eugene Valentine Jr., three brothers, Matthew Williams, Eddie Thomas Williams, and Junior Williams. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Carter Funeral Home, by the Reverend Jimmy Melvin. Burial will follow in the Roseboro-Snowhill Cemetery. Mrs. Valentine is survived by two daughters, Linda Pope of Roseboro, Barbara Black of Charlotte, six sisters, Dixie Melvin, Edith Williams, Betty Joseph all of Roseboro, Nettie ONeal of Yonkers, NY, Brenda Williams of Bronx, NY, three brothers, Claude P. Williams of Fayetteville, Joe L. Williams of Salemburg, Douglas Williams of Newport News, Va. 3 grandchildren, Sean Black, of Raleigh, India Black of Charlotte, Kellie Pope of Fayetteville. 2 great-grandchildren, Yakira Johnson, Jada Johnson both of Fayetteville. The public will be received Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 3:00P.M.-6:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
