Mrs. Louise Smith Horrell, 81 of Garland, died Monday, July 01, 2013 at Leland House in Leland, NC.
Mrs. Horrell was born in Bladen Co, the daughter of the late Simon David Smith Sr., and Nellie Jean Faircloth. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Horrell.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 05, 2013 at Garland Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, by the Reverend Marty Tew, Reverend Fred Pleasant. Burial will follow in the Carter cemetery.
Mrs. Horrell is survived by two daughters, Deborah Lagneaux and husband Jerry of Duson, La., Kay Cain and husband Thomas of Garland, three sisters, Marie Simmons of Spring Hill, Fl., Dot Cornwall of Stedman, Mary Sharp of Blair, Ok, four brothers, Gene Smith of Garland, Jimmy Smith, Ronnie Smith both of Wallace, Larry Smith of Cocoa Beach, Fl., 3 grandchildren, Shannon Brisson and husband Ben, Nathalie Gore and Husband Micheal, Jaime Cook and husband Chris, 5 great-grandchildren, Alex, Caroline, and Gavin Brisson, Caitlin and Dalton Gore.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, July 04, 2013 from 6:00 P.M.-8:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to Leland House, 1935 Lincoln Rd. NE, Leland, NC 28451 in memory of Louise S. Horrell
