Mrs. Kathleen Brown Edge, 79, of 2363 NC Hwy. 210 West, Garland, NC died on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Walter and Lettie Mae Price Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy C. Edge.
Funeral service will be held Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11AM at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary McMillian and Rev. Tom Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Edge is survived by: two daughters, Virginia Smith of Garland and Lynda Harris of Clayton; two sons, Steve Edge of Harrells and Scott Edge of Charlotte; two sisters, Miriam Hewlett and Francis Jackson, both of Dillon, SC; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:30 P. M. till 8:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
