Mrs. Juanita Perkins Douglas 90 of 26 Womack Way White Lake, NC, formerly of Fayetteville, NC died Monday, June 02, 2014 at Bladen Co. Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
Mrs. Douglas entertained many people at camp functions and church senior groups as the best “Minnie Pearl” ever filling the room with laughter & jokes.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Colly Chapel Church with the Rev. Jim Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Douglas is survived by: Husband, Joseph “Bud” Douglas, of White Lake; son, Steven Douglas and wife Debbie, of White Lake, daughter, Mardi Reynolds and husband Bobby, of Hope Mills; brother, Bruce Perkins of Titusville, Fla; 4 grandchildren, Jason Douglas and wife Brandi, of White Lake, Jamie Barbour and husband Chris, of White Lake, Amy Reynolds, of Hope Mills and Laura Reynolds, of Greensboro; one great-grandchild, Addison Leigh Douglas. Adopted children Shelby Lee, Faye Bass Williams, and Kent Smith.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday night from 6-8 PM at Colly Chapel Church and at other times at the home of Steven and Debbie Douglas, 38 Sandy Cove, White Lake, NC.
