Mrs. Eula H. Monroe
July 29, 1927 — April 1, 2015
On Tuesday, April 1, 2015, Eula Monroe was called from this life and granted everlasting life, peace, and serenity.
Eula was born on July 29, 1927 to the late Gadison Hayes and Julia Andrews-Hayes.
Eula was preceded in death by her husband, William H. “Martin" Monroe Sr., Two Children: Eula J. Monroe-Williams, and William H. “Buck" Monroe Jr. Four Sisters: Katie Hayes-Blue, Sadie Hayes-Gardner, Mary Hayes-Spell, and Margaret Hayes. One Brother: Thomas Anderson.
She was educated at Garland Colored School now known as the former Garland High School. She joined Garland First Baptist Church at an early age. She was employed many years at the Garland Shirt Company and Sampson County Sewing.
To cherish her memories: Three daughters--Christian Monroe-Caraway (Levie) of the home, Julia Ann Monroe-Tatum of Garland, NC.,
