Mrs. Ella Jane Council, 77, of 120 Southwood Drive, formerly of Garland, died on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland. Burial will follow in the Garland Community Cemetery.
She is survived by: David “Buddy” Council, of the home; two daughters, Margie Highsmith of Harrells and Rosa Carroll of Fayetteville; two sons, Dexter Council of Garland and Jeffery Council of Willard; six sisters, Christine Robinson and Essie Carr, Darlene Hill, Christine Johnson, Aretha Johnson and Mary Carr; four brothers, Johnny Melvin, John Johnson, Adrian Johnson and Charles Johnson; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 1:00 till 5:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
