Mrs. Carolyn Owens Boykin 62 of 89 Davis Rd. Garland, died Monday, August 26, 2013 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 30, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home by Deacon Leander Owens. Burial will follow in the Owens Cemetery in Garland.
Mrs. Boykin is survived by six sisters, Janice Highsmith, Patricia Sellers both of Garland, Sennie Brother of Clinton, Cathy McMillian of Clinton, Debor Lloyd of Elizabethtown, Phyllis Monk of Raleigh, six brothers, Arthur Owens, Johnny Owens, Leanders Owens, Howard Owens all of Garland, Don Ray Owens of Roseboro, Marvin Owens, Jr. of Whiteville, 1 granddaughter.
The public will be received Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 1:00P.M.-7:00P.M. Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
