Mrs. Callie Pridgen Hayes 74 of 9642 Harrells, NC. died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Christiana Care Health System in New Castle, Delaware.
Mrs. Hayes was a retried elementary school teacher with public school’s 14,15, 29 in New Jersey, and a member of Mt. Ollie Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 26, 2011 at Keathern Baptist Church in Harrells, NC, by the Reverend Harvey Robinson. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park, in Clinton, NC.
Mrs. Hayes is survived by her husband, Mr. Lester Hayes, Jr., one sister Isabell Murphy of Rosedale, NY, one brother, Owen Pridgen of Wilmington, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6:00P.M.-7:00P.M. Sunday. September 25, 2011 at Carter Funeral Home and other times at the home of Lillian Imes 8443 Ivanhoe Rd., Harrells, NC
