Mrs. Annie Lou McKoy 77 of 8327 US Hwy. 701 North, Elizabethtown, NC, died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Bladen Co. Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC.
Mrs. McKoy was born June 08, 1937 in Bladen Co., the daughter of the late Fred Murphy and Agnes Murphy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry McKoy, one daughter Gloria McKoy, two sisters, Josephine McNeill, Mary Alice McNeill, and a brother Buddy Murphy.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday,October 23, 2014 at Evening Light Holiness Church 1371 Airport Rd., Garland, NC, by the Reverend John McCoy. Burial will follow in the McKoy Cemetery Shaw Rd. Garland, NC.
Mrs. McKoy is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Foye (John) of Fayetteville, Valarie Wiggins (Keith) of Bowie, Md., three sons Harry“Pete” McKoy, Frederick McKoy both of Elizabethtown, Henry D. Murphy of Hightsville, Md., 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 1:00P.M.-7:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
