Mr. Linzo Lee "Pete" Moore, 61, of 812 Bill Town Road, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Lee and Esther Bryant Moore; three brothers, Richard Robinson, Clyde Robinson and Sammy Lee Moore; one sister, Linda Johnson; a grandson, Kim McKoy and his step-mother, Eva Lee Robinson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Hayes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Alford Holston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by: wife, Antionette C. Moore, of the home; son, Anthony Chavious of Delway; two daughters, Pamela Butler (James) and Tamekia Reed (Warren), all of Fayetteville; seven sisters, Nellie Newton (Wisbon) and Annie Mae Merritt, all of Harrells, Elma Pearson of Philadelphia, PA, Dixie Bryant (Pete) of Wallace, Janet Brooks (Chris) and Wanda Robinson, all of Fayetteville and Deloris Newkirk of Burgaw, NC; six brothers, Lonnie Moore (Shirley) and Thomas Robinson (Shirley), all of Harrells, Billy Robinson (Eanlin) of Mt. Olive, NC, Walter Robinson, of Harrells, Danny Robinson (Sandra) of Rose Hill, NC and John Owens, of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and one special grandson, C.J. Newton.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 1:00 till 7:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home with the family present from 6:00 till 7:00 PM.
