Mr. Howard B. Rich 53, of 106 Harris Drive, Greer, SC, died Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Garland, NC.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Carter Funeral Home by the Rev. Christopher O'Briant. Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery.

Mr. Rich served on the Garland Fire Department for 28 years serving as firefighter and officer. Mr. Rich will be taken to the cemetery on the Garland Fire Department truck.

Mr. Rich is survived by one son, Philip Rich of Harrells, one sister, Sandra Smith of Greer, SC; two grandchildren; three nephews; three great-nieces and three great-nephews.
