Geary ELwin "WINE" Owens 67 of 307 Myers Court, Fayetteville, NC, formerly of Durham, NC died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
He was a native of Roseboro, NC, the son of the late Major F. Owens and Essie Mae Owens Newberry.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday July 23, at 1:00 P.M. at Sam Springs A. M. E. Zion Church in Roseboro, NC with Rev. John Melvin officiating.
The repass will follow immediately in the fellowship hall.
The family will receive friends at the home, 412 Dougllas Ave, Roseboro, NC.
