Mr. Garnett Linwood Hicks

Mr. Garnett Linwood Hicks 63 of 230 DeVane Farms Rd. Harrells, NC died Monday, September 01, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Hicks was born March 24, 1951 in Albemarle Co., Va., the son of the late Herman Hicks and Lena Collier Hicks. He was veteran of the U.S. Army, and also afarmer.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 05, 2014 at Kyle’s Farm, 380 Ward Rd., Harrells, NC, by the Reverend Sam Grist,and Reverend Erin Smith. Burial will follow in the Hick Cemetery, 230 DeVane Farms Rd., Harrells, NC.

Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife, Susan C. Hicks, one son, Mark Linwood Hicks, of Raleigh, one daughter, Kimberly Cash of Harrells, one brother, Garland T. Hicks of Charlottesville, Va, one sister, Linda Major of Waynesbo
