Mr. David Staton 74 of 155 N. Ingold Ave., died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00P.M. Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Garland Baptist Church, by the Reverend Hampton Faircloth and Reverend Danny Johnson. Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery.
Mr. Staton is survived by his wife, Dorothy Staton, one son, Richard Staton of Beulaville,one daughter, Renee Johnson of Lumberton, three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Dallas, Frances Lewis, Nancy Lockamy all of Garland, three brothers, Joe Staton of Garner, Clarence Staton of High Point, NC, Milton Staton of Garland, 3 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 12, 2012 from 6:30PM-8:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
