Mr. Arthur “Slick” Edward DeVane 90 of 180 Southwood Dr.,formerly of Ivanhoe, died Sunday, September 07, 2014 at Southwood Nursing Center in Clinton, NC.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Keathern Baptist Church, 92 Bland School Rd., Harrells, by the Reverend Harvey Robinson.Burial will follow in the Royal Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, 7660 Ivanhoe Rd., Ivanhoe, NC.
Mr. DeVane is survived by four sons, Brian DeVane of Hyattsville, Md., Barry Fennell of Goldsboro, Linwood Pollard of Bear, DE, Glenn Washington of Rockledge, Fl., 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
The public will be received, Friday, September 12, 2014 from1:00PM-7:00PM with family present from 6:00P.M.-7:00P.M., at Carter Funeral Home in Garland, and other times at the Harrel
