Mildred Barnes Jones, 69, of White Oak passed away Friday, September 23, 2016.
She is preceded in death by her parents W.W. Barnes and Effie Mae Barnes, brother Wilbert “Jake” Barnes Jr. and brother, Wayne “Bo” Barnes Sr. Survivors include: husband Franklin Jones of the home, sons: Christopher Jones and wife Samantha of San Antonio, Texas; Michael Jones of Garland, NC; Nicholas Jones and wife Heather of Franklin, TN; Three sisters, Ruth Oliver of Garland, Pam Best of Clinton, Cathy O'Bday of Charlotte; one brother Ralph Barnes of Garland. 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild .
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Carter Funeral Home in Garland. Service will be held at Beards Chapel Church on Monday, September, 26, 2016 at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Leon Warren and Rev. Nicholas Jones officiating. Burial following in the church cemetery.
