Mr. Mike Strickland 47, of 67 N. Ingold Ave., Garland, died Sunday, August 27, 2017 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.
A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 06, 2017 at Carter Funeral Home, by the Reverend Hank Dunbar and Mr. Chad Porter.
Mr. Strickland is survived by his wife, Jo A. Strickland, two daughters, Sarah Marie Strickland, Martha Ann Strickland both of Garland, mother, Angela L. Strickland of Lenoir City, tn., adoptive father, Jim Strickland, Biological father Ken Towle, two brothers, Kray Strickland of Lenoir City, Tn., Kyle Strickland of Fla., one sister, Natalie Harrison of Knoxville, Tn. 3 grandchildren, Zayn, Angel, Ariel.
The family will receive friends from 6:00P.M.-7:00P.M. Wednesday, September 06, 2017 at Carter Funeral Home before the service and also after the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the "Michael Strickland Memorial Fund" c/o. Sun Trust Bank, c/o John Umberger, 628 Green Valley Rd., Suite 102 Greensboro, NC 27408 " Educational fund for his grandchildren."
