Melvin Eugene Mclean

Mr. Melvin "Coon Hunter" Eugene McLean 77 of 705 Wagon Loop Rd., Lumberton, NC died Friday, February 16, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Mr. McLean was born February 28, 1940 in Robeson Co. the son of the late Talmadge E. McLean & Retha West McLean. He was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery McLean.  He was retired Logger and avid Coon Hunter.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church, 5859 Tar Heel Rd., Lumberton, NC 28358, by the Pastor, Elbert Watson.

Mr. McLean is survived by his wife, Emily McLean, three daughters, Cynthia McLean Coleman, Lisa McLean Parnell and Kristy McLean Coleson., Two step-sons, Lorne Gause, Tim Gause, two step-daughters, Penny Gause Phillips, Nancy Caulder, one brother, Dennis McLean, three sisters, Brenda Chambers (David) Wanda McDuffie (Rudy) and Sharon West (Jack) 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the home of Emily McLean, 705 Wagon Loop Rd., Lumberton, NC
