Mary "Sis" Eason

Ms. Mary “Sis” Eason, 67, of 3851 Old Mintz Hwy., Roseboro, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2021, at her residence.

Ms. Eason was born December 21, 1954, in Sampson co.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Eason, a sister, Betty Freeman, and three brothers, Willie Eason, Jessup Eason, and Eddie Eason Sr.

The funeral service will be held at noon 12:00 P.M. on January 19, 2022, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.   Burial will follow in the Roseboro-Snowhill Cemetery, in Roseboro, NC.

Ms. Eason is survived by her daughter, Lakesha Owens of Roseboro, son, Demetrius Eason (Jackie) of Fayetteville, brother, Johnnie B. Eason of Salemburg, 5 grandchildren, Asia, Johnny, Demetrius Jr., Javon, Demarian, and 2 great-grandchildren, Xavier Jr., and Ohagi Baker.

The public will be received on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 1:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. with family present from 5:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M.
