Macy Rene (Cromartie) Fennell

Mrs. Macy Rene Cromartie Fennell, 88, of 1888 Tomahawk Hwy, Harrells died Saturday, November 23, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Fennell was born July 17, 1931 in Sampson County. Mrs. Fennell is preceded in death by her mother Irene Cromartie, her daughter Carolyn Robinson, two grandchildren Johntae C. Fennell, Kareem Fennell, three great-great grandchildren JaQuil “Quil” Fennell, Jamaris “Duke” Pridgen and Jahsiah Fennell.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 29, 2019 at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, Harrells. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Cemetery, Harrells.

Mrs. Fennell is survived by  one daughter Mary Clark (Leroy) Harrells, NC, two sons Willie D. Fennell, Harrells, NC, Johnnie C. “JC” Fennell, Harrells, NC, one brother Charlie C. Cromartie (Frances), Austin, TX, six grandchildren Derek Fennell (Erica), Raeford “Teddy” Fennell, Kimberly Fennell, April Fennell, Diamond Murphy, Phillip Cromartie and ten great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church after the service.
