Lula Alford

Mrs. Lula “Mary” Killett Alford, 65, of 1910 Tomahawk Hwy., Harrells passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House in Goldsboro.

Ms. Alford was born December 06, 1955 in Sampson Co. the daughter of the late Willie Killett and Pearl Killett.  She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Albert Lane, Willie Killett, George Lane, Freeman Killett, Ronnie Killett, Terry Killett and Bobby Killett.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 07, 2021 Keathern Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery by the Reverend Willie C. Alford and Reverend Harvey C. Robinson, Sr.

Mrs. Alford is survived by her husband Roger Bruce Alford, one son, Bruce Alford and wife Latoya of Charlotte, NC, one daughter, Latora R. Alford of Harrells, three sisters, Patricia Marable of Clinton, Dorothy Shephard of Raleigh, Betty Cogdell and husband Jerry of Fayetteville, one brother, Freddie Lane of Clinton, 5 grandchildren.

The public will be received on Tuesday, April 06, 2021 from 1:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M., with family present from 5:00P.M.-6:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland
