Mr. Lacy Carter 71, of 134 West 2nd St. died Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Lacy was preceded in death by his parents Wilson and Suddie Smith Carter and four children

A graveside side service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Garland Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Hall officiating.

Mr. Carter is survived by his wife Annie Barnes Carter, sisters Dottie Mote of Harrells and Barbara J. Norris of Clinton and several nieces and nephews.
