Mrs. Juanita Evers Hester, 89, of 1208 Storms Rd. Bladenboro, passed away on Sunday, July 05, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Hester was born June 09, 1931 in Bladen Co. the daughter of the late Tommy Evers and Lois High Evers. She was preceded in death by husband of 44 years Woodrow  “WC” Hester, two sons, Bobby Lee Hester and James Barry Hester, four sisters, Bernie Weaver, Judy Christan, Melba Bryant, Brenda Skyes, two brothers, TF Evers, Clyde Evers. She was a long time member of the West Bladenboro Baptist Church and very faithful & loved her church family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 10, 2020 at Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown, by the Reverend Bobby Smith officiating.

Mrs. Hester is survived by one son, Woody Hester of Bladenboro, two sisters, Wilma Hester of Bladenboro, Catherine Edwards of Clarkton, 3 grandsons, and 3 granddaughters, and 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  She shared her life with one special niece, Sherry W. Lainer.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Community Home Care & Hospice, also a special care givers Rhonda Pidgeon, and also the staff and doctors of Cape Fear Valley Medical Associates, Clarkton, NC
