Mr. Joseph “Joe” Henry Smith 62 of 1500 Old Fayetteville Rd., died Thursday, December 08, 2016 at Highsmith Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville, NC.
Mr. Smith was born May 28, 1954 in Sampson Co. the son of the late Lewis Smith and Mary Guy Smith. He preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Smith, Robert Smith and one sister, Elnora Grace Smith.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Cypress Creek Baptist Church by the Reverend Richard Smith and Reverend Gary McMillian. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr.. Smith is survived by three sisters, Rosalie Melton of Rocky Mount, NC, Judy Scott of Seattle, Washington, Shirley Polllard of Randleman, NC, three brothers, Allen Smith wife Shirley of Rockingham, NC, Glenn Smith and wife, Janie of Clyde, Texas, and James Smith and wife, Phyllis Smith of Garland, NC.
The family will receive friends from 1:30PM-2:45P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the church before the service.
