Joseph Thomas Staton

Mr. Joseph Thomas Staton, 84, of 3001 Benson Road, Garner, NC, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at his residence.

Joseph was born on July 01, 1940, in Sampson County, to the late: Henry and Gladys Staton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons: Tommy Staton; Garry Staton, one daughter: Beverly Staton, 3 brothers: J.W. Staton; David Staton; Clarence Staton, and 1 sister: Nancy Lockamy.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 08, 2024, at Carter Funeral Home, 111 N. Ingold Ave., Garland. Interment to follow the service at the Garland Cemetery, 1030 Harrells Hwy., Garland. Reverend David Lewis will be officiating the service.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife: Paulette Staton of the home, two sisters: Francis Lewis (David) of Garland; Mary Dowless of Garland, one brother: Milton Staton of Garland, and other family members and friends of the community.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 08, 2024, from 2:00-3:00 PM, at Carter Funeral Home, 111 N. Ingold Ave., Garland.
