Mr. Jerry Christian Boykin, Jr., 22, of 160 Stateline Rd. Apt. 106, formerly of Garland, died Wednesday, July 01, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare, Clarksville, TN.

Mr. Boykin was born February 03, 1998 in Duplin County, NC. Mr. Boykin is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Earl and Nattie Boykin.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Clinton Community Church.  Reverend Dwight Dunning will be officiating the Memorial Service.  Inurnment will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.

Mr. Boykin is survived by one son, Amir Boykin of Texas, one daughter, Remiyah Boykin, Oak Gove, KY, mother, Jacquline Johnson, of Garland, father, Jerry Boykin Sr., of Clinton, two sisters, Ashley Carter of Garland, Sydney, C. Boykin of Garland, three brothers, William A. Boykin of Garland, Brian Johnson of Cary, Cameron K. Johnson of Garland and his great-grandmother, Dorothy Crenshaw of Garland.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 10, 2020 from 1:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland, NC.
