Janice Jane (Norris) Bordeaux

Mrs. Janice Jane Norris Bordeaux, 81, of 13905 US 701 N., Garland, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Bladen Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, in Elizabethtown, NC.

Janice was born on February 07, 1942, in Sampson County, to the late Gaddie Norris and his wife Nettie Smith Norris. In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Bordeaux, and three sisters: Peggy Ruffin; Libby Rogers; and Pansy Autry.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 01, 2023, at Colly Chapel Church, 3857 Mote Road, Harrells, NC. Interment to follow in the Smith Cemetery. Reverend Jim Woodruff will be officiating the service.

Janice leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters: Vicky Mote and husband Sammy of Harrells, Robin Smith of Harrells, one son: Randy Bordeaux and wife Rhonda of Garland, six grandchildren: Shannon Meares and husband Anthony, Chad Smith, Kyle Smith, Miranda Bordeaux, Jerad Montgomery, and Jordan Montgomery, and six great-grandchildren: Tanner Meares and wife Lauren, Sarah Meares, Zack Meares, Mary Grace Bordeaux, and Luke Bordeaux, and one great-great-grandchild: Gracelyn Meares.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland, and at other times at the home of Vicky and Sammy Mote, 2740 Mote Road, Harrells, NC 28444.
