Ina Mae (Hilton) Moore

Mrs. Ina Mae Hilton Moore, 94, of 3205 Stoneyford Court, Raleigh, NC formerly of Garland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Lawndale Manor Assisted Living in Garner, NC.

Ina was born September 29, 1928, in South Carolina to the late Ezekiel Hilton and his wife Ruth. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands: Rupert Hales; and Walter Moore, one sister: Sarah Evans, and one brother: Gary “Pete” Hilton.  Ina worked for many years as a clerk at Garland Drug in Garland, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 03, 2023, at Carter Funeral Home, Garland, and Reverend Ed Rouse will be officiating the service. Burial will be in the Garland Cemetery.

Ina leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter: Phyllis Gambill, and husband Allen, of Raleigh.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to Garland Baptist Church, P.O Box 367, Garland, NC 28441, in honor of Ina Mae Moore.
