On a Monday morning, March 21, 2022, God called our mother, grandmama, great-grandmama, sister, and aunt, home to receive her reward.
Mrs. Ida Moore Robinson the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Elma Moore. She was born and raised in Sampson County. She attended Union High School and furthered her education at Bladen Community College where she earned her associate's degree in early childhood development. She was known for being the best hair braider around. She was a member of Pilgrim M.B. Church. Her favorite words were “its never goodbye-always-I will see you later”.
Five years ago she was summoned by the Lord but it wasn’t quite her time, she had more work to do in the vineyard. This time we know not the strange language the Lord whispered in her ear; but this time she answered the call with no fear because we knew who she believed in and was satisfied that God was able to keep her all the way. The best eulogy we can give to our loved one is to emphasize that her focus was always on a strong family unit and character built on honesty and hard work. She was compassionate, quiet, and unassuming but loved by all who she came in contact with.
Her unconditional love for all her family was reflected in her daily activities. She was the wind beneath our wings. She touched the lives of numerous children during her life.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Garland. The Reverend D. Milder will be officiating the service.
