Mr. Hezekiah Newton, 76 of 385 Scronce Rd passed away at Rex Hospital in Raleigh May 25, 2016.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Travis Sampson officiating. Burial will follow in the Newkirk Cemetery.
Mr. Newton was the son of the late Johnnie and Janie Carvin Newton. Mr. Newton is survived by his wife Thelma Newton, three sons: Hezekiah Newton Jr., Frankie Newton and Joshua Newton. Two daughters, Edna Newton and Sandra Newton. One sister Irene McNeil. 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Saturday at Carter Funeral Home Saturday from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
