Mrs. Evelyn Mainor Tatum, 83, of 2161 Herring Rd., Rose Hill, NC passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Tatum was born August 31, 1937 in Florence, SC to the late Utis Mainor and Idella Gibbs. She was preceded in death by husband, Luther Thomas Tatum, four sisters, Louise Vann, Eula Mae Merritt, Elois Fennell and Mary Jacobs, two brothers, Clyde Mainor, Utis Mainor.

A graveside service will be held at noon/12:00 PM Wednesday, January 06, 2021 at Allen Community Cemetery, Herring Road in Rose Hill, NC.

Mrs. Tatum is survived by one daughter, Linda G. Tatum-Robinson (Ricky) of Greenville, one son, Maurice Tatum of Delway, one sister, Eloise Middleton of Brooklyn, NY, one brother, James A. Mainor (Alice) Sacramento, Ca., 4 grandchildren, Cassandra D. Parker, Kevin Parker (Melissa), Maurice T. Tatum, Marisa T. Tatum, 7  great-grandchildren Deven L. Mack, Kailah B. Parker, Casheyana M. Mack, Savonney A. Mack, Kevin N. Parker, Aiden J. Parker, and Aaliya A. Parker, 2 great-great-grandchildren, Italy Parker, Energy Parker.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 05, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home, Garland, NC from 1:00-6:00 PM.
