Ethel Mae (Howard) Tatum

On July 07, 2023, our beloved Mother, Grandmother & friend, Ms. Ethel Mae Howard Tatum, went home to be with the Lord.

She was a graduate of Clear Run High School and worked in the food service industry.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Duet Tatum, son: Lenburg Underwood Jr., and siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland. Bishop Olin Cromartie will be officiating the service. Interment to follow at the Garland Community Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters: Linda Howard of Fayetteville; Connie Howard of Clinton, one son: Willie Howard of Garland, one stepson: Cliff Powell of Red Hook, NY, and one stepdaughter: Doretha Bronson of Clinton, 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

The Family

The family will receive friends at the home of Connie Howard, 150 Tatum Lane, Clinton.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 1:00-6:00 PM, with the family present from 5:00-6:00 PM, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
