Mr. Ernest Smith 92 of 431 Belgrade Ave. Garland, died Thursday, March 08, 2018 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Garland Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, by the Reverend Jeff Hayes and Reverend Dewey Ball.  Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery with military honors.

Mr. Smith is survived by one daughter, Patricia Carr, three sons, Alfred Smith and wife Vickie Smith, Eddie Smith and wife Judy Smith, Robert Smith and wife Candy Smith, grandchildren, Brent Smith, Nathan Smith and wife, Annelise Smith, Matthew Smith and wife, Michele Smith, Mary Ann Roberson and husband Clint Roberson, Laura Ashley Hunter and husband Spencer Hunter, Iyad Fakhri and Bonnie Fakhri, Adam Smith, Gavin Smith, great-grandchildren, Braelyn Roberson, Zannah Roberson. Benjamin Smith, Jude Smith.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 1:00P.M.-2:00P.M. before the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Garland Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 475 West 2nd St. Garland, N.C. 28441.
