Mrs. Emma Boykin Bordeaux 60 of 788 Lamb Rd., was born June 19, 1951 and on Tuesday, August 30, 2011she has gone to be with our Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her father Jessie Boykin and one brother Ray Boykin.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 02, 2011 at Carter Funeral Home by the Reverend Fred Pleasant. Burial will follow in the Albert Bordeaux Family Cemetery in Garland.
Mrs. Bordeaux is survived by her husband of 43 years Albert Bordeaux, two daughters, Mary Jean Dabbs, and Christine Bordeaux Lane, both of Garland, mother, Edna Boykin of Garland, three sisters, Clair Bordeaux, Lessie Bordeaux both of Garland, Betty Crews of Dudley, one brother, J.W. Boykin of Mt. Olive, three grandsons, Clayton Dabbs, Alex Blackburn, Carlos Jr., all of Garland, 3 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 01, 2011 from 7:00P.M.-8:30 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
