Mr. Elmer Highsmith, 93, formerly of Rose Hill passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at Magnolia Assisted Living Facility in Clinton.
Elmer was born May 14, 1927 in Duplin County to the late Lula Highsmith. He is preceded in death by his sister: Julia Highsmith and two nephews: Rayfield Highsmith & Michael Highsmith. Mr. Highsmith worked many years in the laundry business.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 08, 2021 at Hayes Chapel Church Cemetery, 2580 Hayes Chapel Rd, Rose Hill, NC. The service will be officiated by Reverend Sandra Spell.
Elmer leaves to cherish his memory his twin brother: Elbert Highsmith of Jacksonville, his niece: Tara Highsmith and three nephews: Rayfield Highsmith Jr., Tristan Highsmith & Reggie Highsmith.
