Mrs. Elizabeth Mathis Boykin 85 of 100 Register St. died Monday, September 12, 2011 at her daughter’s residence in Newport News, Va.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Lisbon Street Baptist Church, by the Reverend Robert Lamb. Burial will follow in the Roseboro-Snowhill Cemetery in Roseboro.
Mrs. Boykin is survived by two daughters, Pat Tyler, Newport News, Va., Tammie B. Underwood, of Clinton, NC, one son, Bobby Ray Mathis of Richmond, Va., one sister, Gladys Anderson of Fayetteville, one brother, Aldolph Williams of Fayetteville, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
The public will be received from 1:00-5:00P.M. Friday, September 16, 2011 at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
