Mrs. Eithel Merritt Norris 98 of 1657 Norris Rd. Garland, NC, died Friday, August 25, 2017 at her residence.
Ms. Norris was preceded in death by her parents Ben and Mittie Blackburn Merritt, her husband Henry Lee Norris and one grandson Dale Register, five sisters and four brothers.
Funeral will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Carter Funeral Home by the Rev. Michael Salisbury and Dr. Teresa Ammons. Burial will follow at Garland Cemetery.
Ms. Norris is survived by two daughters Carolyn Register of Rose Hill and Lois Peterson of Garland. One son Jimmy Lee Norris of Garland. Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 1:00 to 1:45 pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
