Mr. Edward Allen “Ed” Driggers Sr. 59 of 6 Vandalia Place passed away on Sunday, October 09, 2011 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Edward was born on July 02, 1952 in High Point, NC. Ed worked for twenty years with Tultex Corp. and currently as an accountant for the College of Design at North Carolina State University.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00P.M. Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Garland Baptist Church 55 West 2nd St.Garland, NC, by the Reverend Trent Sessoms, and Reverend Brian Wingo. Burial will follow in the Garland Cemetery.
Mr. Driggers is survived by his wife, Jean McPhail Driggers, one son, Edward Allen Driggers Jr.(Rachel) of Columbia, S.C., four brothers, Eldon Driggers Jr., Donald Driggers, Timothy Driggers, Dean Driggers, all of High Point, NC.
Memorials maybe made to Hock Family Pavilion c/o Duke Homecare & Hospice 4023 N. Roxboro Rd., Durham, NC 27704 or to ones choice.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 12:30pm-1:45PM at Garland Baptist Church Fellowship Hall before the service.
